Lanvin for H&M

Posted on September 2, 2010

Rumours started earlier in the week of this collaboration and only now has it all been confirmed! Lanvin is the next Fashion House to design a collection for the high street brand H&M. Margareta Van der Bosch, H&M boss, has described it as ‘Very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details for both women and men.’ I have a feeling this is going to be very popular. Think of the queues involved when Kate Moss hit Topshop and times it by about ten…that’s the scale you should prepare yourself for. The Lanvin designers have said that they liked the idea of H&M doing luxury and so agreed to collaborate. Wise move. The collection will be in H&M stores from November 23rd.
