Emma Watson endorsed a clothing range by Fair Trade clothing company The People Tree last Summer and, following it’s success, has done it again. The collection, now online, is far more grown up than the last and shows Emma‘s acute knowledge of fashion trends. From shapely evening dresses to casual check shirts it’s fair to say that this range is promising. The most important thing about this collection, though, is it’s focus and drive to spread the word of ethical clothing and to make fair trade fashionable. Emma recently visited clothing production warehouses in Bangladesh (above) from the worst to the best in terms of standards. She also met the President of the National Garment Workers Federation. This research, Emma says, has opened her eyes to the realities of what needs to be done and she feels inspired. Emma has become a fashion icon of so it seems a perfect team-up. It seems every designer wants to be the young stars friend as in the coming months Alberta Ferretti will be doing just that with a collaboration which bound to be nothing less that stunning. Check out the new collection from The People Tree.
